Help & FAQ

Does CPP include channels or subscriptions?

No. CPP plays content from your own providers. CouchPotato Suite does not supply channels, movies, series, playlists or subscriptions. Use only sources you are entitled to access.

Which CPP installation should I choose?

Use Downloads to select a published build for your device. Android Mobile and Android TV use different APKs. For iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, use the official App Store link.

Which provider details does CPP need?

Use the details for the connection type your provider supplies: Xtream Codes, M3U with optional XMLTV, or Ministra/Stalker/MAG. The setup guide explains the fields. CPP does not provide an account for these services.

Why is the TV guide empty or a stream unavailable?

The guide and streams come from your provider. Check the source, profile details, EPG URL if used, connection and permitted simultaneous streams. Available formats and tracks can differ by device and player.

Can I sync between Apple and Android?

Apple and Android use separate backups. Apple devices offer optional encrypted backup through private CloudKit data. Android test releases offer encrypted Google Drive backup and device pairing; Drive sign-in is currently limited to approved test accounts. Backup exchange between CloudKit and Google Drive is not available.

Which languages are available?

CPP and this website support English, German, French and Greek.

What should I include in a support request?

Give the app version, device, operating system, provider type and a description with all secrets removed. Do not send passwords, full credential-bearing URLs, MAC addresses or backup passphrases. Use the contact details on the relevant app support page.
