A comfortable home for your own IPTV
CouchPotatoPlayer (CPP) brings live TV, movies and series from your own IPTV providers into one app. It runs on iPhone and iPad, Apple TV, Android phones and tablets, and Android TV.
Connect the way your provider works
Add multiple profiles using Xtream Codes, a remote M3U playlist with an optional XMLTV guide, or a standard Ministra/Stalker/MAG portal. The connection details come from your provider; CPP does not supply an account or subscription.
Find your next watch
Live TV and local sorting are free. The optional one-time Pro in-app purchase unlocks movie and series playback and the browser library editor when the purchase is available in the relevant store. Browse channels, movies, series, seasons and episodes, search your library and save favorites. The program guide depends on the information your provider supplies.
Made for the remote, too
On a TV, use your remote or D-pad to move between items and select one. On phones and tablets, use the touch controls. Audio tracks, subtitles and other playback options depend on the stream, device and player.
A note on availability
Available features and playback on external devices vary by platform and stream format. Some codecs and provider portals may not work on every device. Check the current release information and device requirements before installing.
Get started
Use the mobile or TV package that matches your device. Android and Android TV downloads and the public App Store listing are on the downloads page. Availability can differ between the public store version and an internal test build.
Profiles and synchronisation
Profiles and library data are stored on your device. Apple devices offer optional encrypted provider backup and restore through private CloudKit data. Android devices offer optional encrypted Google Drive backup and restore, with device pairing by code between Android devices. Apple and Android backups remain separate; there is no automatic sync between the two platforms.
